Well, besides overclocked video cards, ZOTAC stressed also on their “green” series of power efficient models. In the secret area of the stand there were many systems, showing how much better are the green ZOTAC models compared to relevant regular controllers.

The before mentioned video controllers with bundled watercooling block and higher frequencies (we had opportunity to check them from near, even they allowed us to touch them.. whoaaa :D): И така, споменатите карти с фабрично поставен воден блок и завишени честоти (ние имахме възможност да ги видим от близо, дори даваха да пипаме! :D):

Again the motherboards boasted their power efficient capabilities. The already mentioned ITX motherboard with 9300 mobile was the greatest ZOTAC achievement in this area. Another interesting model was ZOTAC 8200 mITX. There were many of the mentioned stands with power meters in order to display how much energy these configurations need.

And at the end something small (literally) but extremely cool. Ladies and Gentlemen – ZOTAC introduces NVIDIA ION> this is the new NVidia’s platform, based on Intel Atom. The board combines in itself GeForce 9300 video, chipset and other extras, allowing the playing of 3D games, watching and compressing Full HD video , thing that no Atom is capable of. Furthermore, ION has extra low power consumption and is very affordable, which will be implemented not only in small extra power effectice computers, but also in laptops. As we later understood by NVidia representatives –Intel hate ION and that is the main reason it is not on the market yet. ION will hamper the sales of more expensive processors, while companies like Microsoft greet the release of NVidia ION, because Vista and the upcoming Windows 7 are not suitable for netbooks, which start to become more and more popular and a good graphical core will solve a large part of the obstacles before installing Vista ot Windows 7.
