A-Data are one of the best-known RAM memories in our kind country. For starters they are on our market for maybe more than a decade and their products have competitive prices both among high-end modules for gamers and enthusiasts and also among extremely affordable solutions for common configurations. On this expo their stand was accordingly large, displaying all of their products, which are far from only RAM memory, and some of the presented stuff amazed even us.
Naturally the accent fell on the most performing and expensive models of the company and every product group they manufacture was well presented. High-performance RAM memory from the A-Data X Series & X Series 2.0, + (plus) Series, G Series, high-performance SSD drives, flash momory and cards:
The highest end products from the Extreme (X) series memory of A-Data are tri-channel kits, which were presented together with the i7 release by Intel, but this fact doesn’t hamper them from being still maybe the fastest models on the market. The memory in question is A-Data Extreme DDR3 2133MHz, which is just astounding figure at whatever timings you put it (the demo case at the A-Data’s stand they worked at the really astonishing low voltage of 1.6V and timings of 8-9-8-24!).
SSD is the word today! Even if first wave was still unperfected in most of the cases, especially the models with JMicron controller, A-Data had 3 models. One of them is extremely fast SSD – XPG, with capacity up to 512 GB, but this maybe only prototype, as on A-Data’s website we can find only up to 192 GB in the model’s specifications. The mainstream models are up to 256 GB, but the website again states only 128 GB.
