The performance of each of the following tests was taken by HDTech v.3 - with the short 8MB zones test. For all the test an Seagate Barracuda 300GB 7200.9 hard drive was used, which for the eSATA and USB 2.0 ones was mounted in VIZO Luxon hard drive case, that supported both eSATA and USB 2.0.
