The Cus Mini NAS N0204 is at the bottom of the table performance-wise, bur then again it is a small device not bent on outperforming its bigger brethren.

Time to see how the devices deal with cooling the hard drives in them. As we usually do - we're displaying the temperature DIFFERENCE between the device temperature and room temperature. Naturally here too N0204 is not the best performing one and for a good few reasons too: First of all it relies on passive cooling, and second its body is mostly plastic (thus having tough time dispersing the heat). In testing at full load, within one hour we got hard drive temperature of 46 degrees. It is in fact still within operating temperature range and the ambient temperature was high, still, the device is clearly not intended to run at maximum load 24/7.

And last, but not least - we measure how "green" is this product, especially considering its small size. Pretty obviously - N0204 of course is the best performer here, being the smallest device, relying on a 2.5” drive and all (although these are results wit a single disk).

Note: the device we used to measure power consumption has its lower value set at 6W – i.e. measurement of 0W is not real, its merely under 6W, even though we know not how much exactly is it. :).
