Another stand that impressed us was the one of Lian-Li, with which we've started working recently. And while not being specifically invited, they were kind enough to give us a guided tour through their products on display.

One of their new middle class cases - P50 - that is to hit the market soon, has in it implemented quite a lot of the ideas of the Lian-Li designers. As any other Lian-Li cases it is completely aluminum, while this particular model has completely toolless setup, including for the PCI cards, 3.5" and 5.25" devices and the PSU. The motherboard backplate is so you could mount coolers that have their own backplate without removing the motherboard. That's something very handy and a option that we believe will hit the mainstream cases soon. There are also lots of options for cable sorting.

Also on display we saw one of the newest and most expensive Lian-Li cases - X2000, one clearly for extremists. Besides all of the above mentioned things it allows the PSU to be removed from the case without even opening it. The case cooling is assured by many and big fans and to prevent it gathering dust - there is an air filter that can be removed and washed in under a minute.

Here we see yet another non-standard case for maniacs, all lit in blue - with additional top section. The case is being very well suited for use with water cooling system.

Of course at their stand all the well known models could be seen too, from MidTower, BigTower, HTPC all the way to miniature ones for tiny nettop computers.

Very interesting is the new Lian-Li brand - Lancool, it comes from the same designers it bears the same capabilities, but uses cheaper material (sheet iron instead of aluminum), which in fact makes them budget oriented.

Maybe we'll be in a position to soon review some of the Lancool products - their reasonable price is certainly worth our attention.
