Pros:
  • Very quiet, the fan is hardly audible in closed case even without using the fan controller
  • Excellent performance - Core-Contact Freezer had the best results under heavy load and hefty overclock
  • Relatively light and safe for the motherboard
  • Very high quality thermal paste provided with it
  • Universal mounting (brackets for all modern desktop motherboards are included)
  • Reasonable price

Cons:
  • Not too stable on AM2+ motherboards
  • Unavailable in Bulgaria
  • Not particularly good looking

Sunbeam had impressed us with good products before too. When half a year ago we reviewed their thermal paste Tuniq TX-2, it did better than at least 5 other popular and expensive rival brands. The company clearly knows what it's doing and Core-Contact Freezer only reassures this. The cooler performed excellently and the only remark we must make is that should you are AMD user some stability issues after mounting might ensue, while with LGA775 motherboards they will appear after mounting/unmounting the cooler 5-6 times.

Many thanks to Sunbeam, that supplied us with Core-Contact Freezer for testing.
