Yes, as you all know reinforced disks are rare***. I could „make“ some from a larger disk. Or get a set of attachments just because of the 10 of them inside. Or to get as many as i can when i find any. Sounds reasonable enough. Just like using a simple sheet iron scissors. So i did. The rough cutting of the shields was so easy. And so quiet.
The fine forming i did with the dremmel of course.
An then i bend the thing that woud to become the frame.
Then it went to the welder. You see I don’t have a CO welder, but even if I did I don’t have the experience, so I ‘m not keen on experimenting. The result was swift and satisfying.
And then the welds were reinforced. And then smoothed out to improve the appearance.
*** Then again... They are rare where i live.
