Now let's take a look at the NOX Apex 700W box. It apparently bears lots of logos for all of the implemented technology, good pictures of the product and all of its specifications:

Once we open the box we find inside a manual, power cable, box with additional cables and the PSU itself:

Along with the PSU we get 7 additional cables by which you could power all of your devices:

Each cable is well sleeved. Their total number is 10 amounting the following list:

  • АТХ power cable: 500 mm. (fixed)
  • 4 pin CPU cable: 500 mm. (fixed)
  • 8 pin CPU cable: 500 mm. (fixed)
  • 2 х 8 pin PCI-E cable: 650 mm. (fixed)
  • 1 х 6 pin PCI-E cable: 500 mm.
  • 1 х 6 pin PCI-E cable: 500 mm.
  • Molex: 4 х 5.25”: 950 mm.
  • Molex: 4 х 5.25” + 1 х 3.25”: 950 mm.
  • 2 х SATA cable: 650 mm.
  • 2 х SATA cable: 650 mm.

More or less it is apparent that the PSU is intended greatly for use in SLI configuration – the dual 8 pin PCI-E cable is fixed, which means that even if you don't use it you'll have to accept that it will always be present.

NOX Apex 700W is black with mat finish, which is very nice compared to all the other products out there bent on using mirror finish surfaces. On the side there is a picture with the product name for the series and the precise model. In this case it is orange, but as we stated depending on power it could be also either red or yellow:

On the top of it we find a sticker with its characteristics and on the bottom is the 140 mm fan. Освен това, впечатление прави и неговото тегло – picking it up you'll feel it to be heavy, and as you surely know that is a indication of a number of high quality components was used, and although that isn't very accurate, adequate or scientific method of evaluating its quality it is indeed quite commonly used one:

As for installing NOX Apex 700W – nothing too difficult, the nice thing here is the fact that it being modular - you plug in only the cables you need:
