After we looked closely at the PSU and performed substantial array of tests, it's time to pass on the verdict.

Pros:
  • Enough power to satisfy the needs of most gamers, even some high-class ones
  • Well sleeved cables for improving the air flow in the case and keeping things tidy
  • Fan continues to work after powering down the system until it's cooled enough, prolonging components life
  • Nice appearance in black
  • Very quiet
  • 2 years warranty

Cons:
  • Close at the limit of the PSU the12V lines have too big srop
  • Close at the limit of the PSU the fan gets too noisy
  • Cables are not completely sleeved
  • Rival PSU's have one year more warranty
  • Unjustly high price ~ 100$

The drawbacks emerging after the tests are predictable and not unexpected for that class (and price range) in which the PSU stands. The problem here is that in other European countries this PSU is sold at price of about 65$ - 75$, price at which PSU's of other brands with similar Wattage are available in Bulgaria. Silver Power SP-SS500 would be recommended choice for the price it was intended to have. But for the 100$ it is sold here there are lots of other better ones. And if you're set on spending only about 70$ there are plenty of PSU's of slightly lower class that do just as good as SP-SS500.

Many thanks to Dekada for supplying us with Silver Power SP-SS500 500W for this review.
