First impressions
The mouse is well packed in one definitely nice box. Slider X600 is standing on a small plastic stand under a clear acrylic cover with slightly tilted top. The bottom part of the box provides the usual information about the product - available light colours, features and specifications. Almost everywhere on the box we can find the Nova Gaming logo as well as the company name.
Time to open the box. Or so we thought. The first attempt was unsuccessful, the second though was. Apparently the acrylic cover is kept attached to the bottom part of the box by 4 small screws that were easily removed by the provided (in a special indentation on the bottom) screwdriver.
Thorough observations
The box contents were nothing too impressive - small instructions book, driver CD and the mouse itself. Nothing excessive.
The interesting design of Slider X600 is had to remain unnoticed. Very unusual and interesting it provides swell gaming comfort. The top of the mouse is housing the two main buttons, one programmable button and the scroll, the left side is home of additional four programmable buttons, two small and two big ones, also on the left is situated three small red LED lights that indicate the mouse speed. But by us the most interesting part of the mouse id the right one. It's shaped in such way that it provides very comfortable rest for your ring and little fingers and by doing this it automatically grants you additional stability and comfort. X600 uses only top-grade materials all over, its top is ceramic and its sides are from non-slipping material, furthermore the odd positioning of its cable (on the right instead in front) is actually a nice improvement and adds to the comfort. The last part of the mouse - the bottom also has a thing or two to show, for instance its ceramic feet are connected (though visually pleasing, totally functionally - non relevant) by an plastic "X" that intersects at the "eye" of X600.
