First impressions
The very first thing you notice about Mamba is its peculiar box - one strongly resembling a box for containing something of great value a trophy if a sense. Its top is clear, thus allowing you to see the mouse, atop of a small pedestal, while the bottom part of the box bears some writings along with the Razer logo. The design is rather simplified in black and green, just like with their other products.
The box contents
After we open the box and remove the mouse from its pedestal. Besides the Mamba the box contains its charger, battery and all the other bits and pieces (each it its own small elegant black package).
The Razer Mamba design is astonishing. On top of the mouse you'll find the Razer logo engraved along with the two massive buttons, the scroll (lit in blue) and two small buttons placed on the close to the left button. You'll notice that the two large buttons are separated and in fact the gap is intended as a plug port for the Mamba USB cable, that can be attached to either the mouse or to the charger. This ensures that even if the mouse battery runs out of juice you'll not have to wait until it recharges in order to be able to use it. The left side of the mouse besides the two small buttons hosts also a small LED display, indicating both the mouse sensitivity setting level and the battery charge. The bottom of the mouse host another three buttons - one for turning on/of the wireless sensor, one for releasing the cable and one for connecting to the charger(transmitter). There is of course and the battery compartment cover bearing the proud "For gamers by gamers" insignia.
