From aesthetic point of view Laise N99 Dual SIM has beautiful, clean looks. On the panel are present metal elements improving further it's appearance.

Working with the phone is pleasant because of the clean menu and the touchscreen functionality. The phone book is well organized providing availability to different functions: detailed search, picture for each contact, video for each contact and ring tone for each contact. In the message menu you can choose between SMS, MMS, Chat, E-mail, Voice Mail server and Broadcast message. You can also write drafts.

In Call Log you can check everything from missed calls to the so called Call cost function, which based on predefined sum (for $/minute) is calculating how much your calls would cost. There is also a counter for received/send data through GPRS. The settings menu is full with interesting functions like the one for calibrating the touchscreen.

You can define settings for either SIM A or SIM B. You can even define when the phone should power up/down. In the Display section you can choose wallpaper, screen saver and picture to be shown on power up/down. You have the choice of displaying hour and date, operator logo, number of the SIM card and the appearance of the clock - digital or analog. There is function for greeting text upon powering up the phone as well as the option of speed dialing. You can set the joystick to open menus of your choice. There is Flight mode, useful if you want to cut the connection to the operators and use the phone as MP3 or video player, saving your battery when you are out of cell phone cover. One of my favorite is the Handwrite function, it allows you to write SMS or any other text by using the stylus.

In Call setup menu you can set various functions, there is even the option to use the Laise N99 as IP phone. That even in the absence of WiFi is useful, yet sadly i was unable to test it due to difficulties i had configuring it. In the Multimedia menu are available a lot of thing connected with the phone: Camera, picture view, some reader i was unable to figure a use for, Video player and recorder supporting both MP3/4 formats and a sound recorder. There is a well organized Explorer through which you can copy, move, erase and rename files in Laise N99 and the memory card. In the menu for Fun are available few themes and two games. If you find yourself in a restaurant and your kid is behaving - let it try them, they are quite entertaining :)

You can choose between few profiles and i love the dual Bluetooth availability. You can have two Buethooth hands free for your conversations. I guess i like the Organizer menu the most, being well arranged an including nice calendar, reminder notes, alarm and World Clock. Through it you can select different cities around the world calculating the hour difference. Available is also a functional chronometer. There is a beautiful Internet browser that uses the GPRS function. The operating system of Laise N99 provides also calculator, measurement converter, currency converter, Bluethooth data transfer and Bluethooth browser that allows you connect to other phones for downloading pictures, music or contacts. The sound of the phone is good, strong and clear, i like it. There is a hold button for switching between Economical and Normal mode, Dimming the back light of the TFT display in Economical mode.

The camera is 3.2MP, yet makes lousy photos and is probably the only thing that disappointed me in Laise N99. As a whole the phone offers a lot for his money, the price of 400 leva (~200€) being a tad high is well worth it if you always have to carry two phones in your pocket.

I suppose the cheapest way of acquiring the phone is ordering it over Internet from China and waiting a week for delivery. In conclusion - Laise N99 Dual SIM makes me happy mostly with it's nice display, good STEREO sound and ergonomic design.
