So, forward to the more interesting part of the review, namely the insides of this Titan:

Pictures are quite self-explanatory. The optical and hard drives are attached to a movable plate, held only by the bolts that screw in place the barebone cover. Clearly visible is also the PSU (in the front part of the case). Interesting is the cooling - a single 40 mm fan. We must say that even at full load the Titan wasn't too noisy (we expected much more ROAR! from a 40nn fan at full speed), but still the case got noticeably heated.

We decided to compare MSI Titan 700 to two other Windows XP based systems. One of them is a notebook of somewhat older generation, not quite Vista friendly. The other system is a up to date desktop system, using nevertheless Windows XP.

  • Ram: 1GB DDR2 533
  • Video: Nvidia GeForce Go 7300
  • HDD: 120 GB SATA
  • ОС: Windows XP Pro SP 2

Desktop:

  • CPU: Intel C2 Duo E4500
  • Ram: 4GB DDR2 800
  • Дънна платка: Asus P5K-E
  • Video: Ati Radon X800XT
  • HDD: 250 GB Maxtor SATA2
