And so we continue with our story about Modreactor's team at CeBIT 2009 in Hanover (Dermany), with the second day of it.

The day we started with DFI LanParty. As you might know, DFI make products ranging from basic user ones to grand enterprise solutions, which however are indeed costly and therefore of no interest for us. The DFI stand at CeBIT was displaying only their LanParty line, which is targeted to more common users (common as in "not enterprise"). These are products that accent heavily on overclock and as whole are more suitable for enthusiasts and gamers. Their stand was kind of small, still that did not made it less interesting in the slightest.

Approaching it from quite a long way away we spotted the large poster with achievements in overclocking for each year since the release of the first LanParty motherboard. And believe you me these achievements are many indeed.

The walls are covered with motherboards manufactured by the company. Since they all are targeted at rather compact group their number is not great, yet each is there for a reason. Some of their latest models have even made their way to the Modreactor lab. DFI LANPARTY DK 790FXB-M2RSH was the best motherboard for AMD systems we've tested, and a review of DFI LANPARTY UT X58-T3eH8 is coming soon, and the impression it made on us with its latest BIOS is quite positive.

At the expo DFI accented more on their LANPARTY JR series of motherboards - mATX motherboards with untypical for their size overclock capabilities. DFI were the first that released X58 mATX motherboard and the LANPARTY JR X58-T3H6 model was on display at the expo in a small case assisted by high-end video card and Intel Core i7 965 XE processor.

The DFI staff at CeBIT was very friendly and showed us everything while providing answers to all of our questions. We'll be working more closely with DFI from now on and more reviews that might interest you, our readers, will soon follow.
