I would like to share some impressions from working with this pad. Before making the current review I had the chance to work a lot with it. While Evercool Zodiac does not support different work angles, it is set at an optimal so at least for me the angle at which the laptop resides is the most comfortable. So much I get used to this pad, as now when I must use my laptop without it I felt quite uncomfortable to get accustomed again to such setup. But besides the great comfort, the pad shows considerable cooling. The tests were made with both configurations of the fans, in which the blow towards and from thelaptop. Lets see how the Zodiac performed when testing with OCCT:

All test are made at room temperature of 26C. The laptop processor is Pentium Dual Core T3200 @ 2000MHz 1.3V. As you clearly can see there is difference between using the pad or not. The aluminum pad definitely has impact and as you can see there is difference in the temperature, however minimal it is. At least with me when changing the direction of the fans there was no visible effect, but when choosing the optimal configuration for your machine try both ways to find which one best suits you.
