The box of GELID Silent Spirit is mostly white, with a subtle window that allows view of the product:
On the said box except the main features of the product its intended application is also listed. The idea behind Silent Spirit is to get the radiator as further as possible from the core and place it at such angle that the air passing through it to channel onto the motherboard cooling other components in its way. It is also designed in a way guiding the air to the back of the case, where usually are places the additional fans along with the PSU fan (should it be a 120mm one):
The bundle, besides the fan includes also additional mounting brackets, instruction and a Gelid sticker. you have to rely solely on the pre-applied one and it is good for just one use:
And now for the cooler itself. We have white fan with black open body. Another thing to be noted is the scarcely placed radiator fins that make the cooler so quiet:
Here you can see how exactly is the radiator placed above the processor block:
And here is the block. Its base is made from copper and through it the heatpipes pass (all four of them). Additional aluminum piece is there to aid the heat dispersion:
The pre-applied thermal compound is clearly visible. As for installing it - it's easy, very easy – you just place the cooler and attach it with the brackets:
